after jogging/biking for about an hour, I decided to swim a bit to cool off and get all that gross sweat off. While I was stretching, I notice this really strange farmer’s tan on my right arm (and only the right arm). Apparently it was when I went to the med center the other day for an information session for working at the hospital. The group was seated outside starbucks for an hour, and hence the tan.
The sad thing is that I had talked to another professor at the uni in the morning, and I wore a long sleeved shirt. I decided that it was too hot in the afternoon for long sleeves, so I changed to a short sleeved button-up and got a really obvious tan as a result. ;_;
I’m also feeling conflicted with the 17 hrs of research a week during the year. The initial joy at getting a position wore off when I called some upperclassmen, and all of them told me they worked 10-14 hours a week. Time to spam more professors and PIs. ahhhhhhhhh
